What are women’s health partners?

First things first, know that there are centers that exist just to help in situations like yours. ThriVe is all about providing a safe, non-judgmental environment. Seriously, no judgments here, just a lot of support and no-cost services to help you out.

We’re talking pregnancy tests, STI screenings, and ultrasounds — all at no cost to you. If you’re considering abortion, our pre-abortion screenings are a great place to start in your decision-making process. So, whether you’re just looking to confirm your pregnancy or need some reassurance about your health, we’ve got your back.

And the best part? We’re here for you 24/7. Yes, you read that right! Our patient hotline is always open, so you can reach out anytime you need to talk. We get how thinking about things can keep you up at night. Worry, stress, and anxiety can be so rough. Women’s advocates at ThriVe are here just to support you through it. Plus, we’ve got Telehealth services — which means you can chat with our caring women’s advocates and medical staff from the comfort of your home.

So now you know about women’s health partners and how we can help. But maybe you still have some questions about your pregnancy options. There’s probably lots of things racing through your mind, right? Well, we will try to answer some of those things below. But if you still have things to talk about, please know that we’re here for you. Contact us anytime with your questions or worries. We’ve got your back, ladies.

1. How do I know for sure?

One of the first things you’ll want to do is confirm your pregnancy. Confirming with a medical professional is always a good idea, just to be absolutely certain of your result. Sure, home pregnancy tests are a good start. But getting a lab-quality test at ThriVe will ensure that you get accurate results. Plus, we offer no-cost ultrasounds so you can get a clear picture of what’s going on. You’ll need to have one to know your options.

2. How soon can I get an abortion?

Before making any decisions, it’s super important to know what options are safe and appropriate for your pregnancy. Not every woman’s pregnancy develops the same way. In some cases, the pregnancy isn’t developing in the uterus, and that may require immediate medical attention.1 Taking the abortion pill won’t resolve an ectopic pregnancy — and can lead to a life-threatening bleeding or infection.2

And sometimes (10-20% of the time), the pregnancy ends naturally on its own — and an abortion wouldn’t be necessary.

That’s why getting an ultrasound as part of your pre-abortion screening at ThriVe is essential. We can help you understand your options and provide the info you need for making an authentic choice. Your health is important and protecting your future is worth this simple step.

3. When should I tell my family?

This one’s really personal and depends on your unique situation. You should tell your family when it feels right for you. Need support like, now? Confiding in a trusted person can be really helpful. Maybe that person is family, or maybe not. Talk to someone who gives good advice and you feel safe with. Remember, ThriVe is here to support you no matter what. Our advocates can give you a listening ear with.

4. Does my partner get a say in my choice?

It’s important to listen to your partner’s opinion. Acknowledge his feelings. He might have mixed feelings right now, too. That’s ok. You’ll both need time to process and think things over. But ultimately, the choice is completely yours. Your body, your future. You’ll be the person most impacted by your choice, whatever that is. We care about you and want you to feel authentic and confident about your choice. That’s why we are here to talk with you about all your options. We’re here to support you in whatever path you choose.

At ThriVe, we want you to feel safe. Accepted. Informed. Empowered. We offer no-cost services, like pregnancy tests, STI screenings, and pre-abortion screenings. They’re designed to help you through this time. No judgment. Just support. Plus, with our 24/7 patient hotline, you can reach out to our advocate. And with our Telehealth services, you can schedule an appointment at a time that works for you.

Remember, you’re not alone in this. We’re here. There can be hope and stability, even during uncertain times like this. At the end of the day, you have what it takes. You’ve made it this far. There’s hope for your future. You are beautiful, strong, and capable. We’re here to be that women’s health partner you can rely on. So, whenever you’re ready, reach out—we’re here for you.
